Industry in Kitchener Ontario

Kitchener is mostly a blue-collar town, although it has benefited from a number of high tech companies and universities. As for industries, the auto-parts manufacturer, Budd Canada (now known as Thyssen Krupp Budd Canada), emlpoys over 1,500 workers. There are also many industries in the Huron Business Park, from seat manufacturers to furniture components.
